Professional events involve real business relationships. This is how Thinkwire handles access and personal information.

Accounts

One account per person

  • A single account covers every event and organizer, so there are no duplicate identities to keep in sync.
  • Sign in with a password, or a one-time code sent by email. Passwords are stored only as protected hashes.
  • Suspended accounts cannot sign in.

Access

Checked on every request

  • Organizer and operator access is verified against current membership each time, never assumed.
  • The organizer workspace is available by invitation only.
  • Attendee and organizer features are separate experiences built for different jobs.

Your information

You decide what is shown

  • Attendees control whether they appear in networking and what they show at each event.
  • You can request deletion of your account from the website at any time.

On your phone

The mobile app asks for almost nothing.

It needs your photo selection for a profile picture and, if you allow it, notifications. Nothing else.
